Earlier this week, I asked if people liked voice over video breakdowns or writing. The answer was overwhelmingly in favor of video breakdowns, because it’s 2021, man. Who reads anymore? (I love reading.)
I’ll probably end up doing some more, but I took some time to walk through 4 plays from the Packers loss to the Chiefs, so I figured this is the place!
First off, I took a look at 3 plays from Darnell Savage. Everything seems to be clicking into place for him. I thought he had a tremendous game, so I wanted to highlight a few of those plays.
The other one is RPOs, but from a running standpoint. I typically think of RPOs in terms of the pass game, and throwing the bubble screen RPO when you have numbers on the outside. I wanted to even that out a little and show how that motion can remove a run defender, allowing the offense to run into a light box.
