There are a ton of plays from the Chiefs/Bills Divisional Round game that you could really dig into if you want to. It was an instant classic and will be talked about for years.
I wanted to look at one play from that game: a sprint-out on 3rd & 1 in overtime. Sprint-Out is a concept I’ve seen a lot and it’s pretty simple: the quarterback sprints out after getting the snap and throws to a receiver running a quick-out. It’s not an explosive play, but it can get you 2-3 yards when you really need them.
The Chiefs are not content with those 2-3 yards. They get greedy. Instead of running this as a one-man route, they added a second level. Big fan of this.
