I’m now just going to start every video by saying “it’s an old West Coast concept” so I can get it out of the way early.
I do find myself saying it more and more lately, and there’s a good reason for that. With the rise of split safety looks, a lot of those concepts are showing back up, as they were ball-control concepts designed to attack two-high looks.

We’re going to kick things off with the Rasul Douglas pick-six. Rams were using Smash/China - and old West Coast concept - and Douglas played it perfectly.
